Excellent performance, short cable length makes cable management slightly harder,
There are quite a few extensive technical reviews of real world measured performance on this power supply series. This power supply is top tier, no question. Have this item finally running my Core i5 P67 system; looks fabulous as well as stunning. Runs 50 Celsius/full rated power continuously. Ran Furmark and Prime95 overnight and this power supply held up just fine. Tested some voltages through molex cables on full load and tested within spec.
Here comes my gripes. Cable length with main connectors are lacking. Used to have an Enermax Liberty 500w and the cable length was plenty long and usable as opposed to this one. The Enermax also came with great cable options, more molex connects on different cables. PC P&C MK III Cable length on the main connectors have made my cable management more difficult and as a note to OCZ who owns PC P&C, please make your main and CPU connectors a good 30% longer or so and please include more molex connectors, a shame this has not been done for an item at this MSRP ( please take note of Enermax Liberty 500w).
Bottom line: Item has been technically and extensively tested to perform top tier, top of the heap, king of the hill. Item looks stunningly beautiful. Though, main cable length is disappointing and somewhat lacking hence only four stars. Only has 3 molex connectors on one cable hence only four stars. These gripes make cable management difficult.
Still highly recommended to buy it though.

Ok but not great,
I bought this for my new Asus / Corsair / OCZ build. Since this is an OCZ power supply I thought it would be well worth the investment. However after working with it I can say two things about it. 1, it’s nice, and 2, I wouldn’t buy another one.
Why wouldn’t I buy another one? Well because they short you one cable, the cables provided are cheap, and way too short. The power supply is only partially modular, that being said, it ISN’T modular enough. I found that I ghetto rig my cable management in my Corsair 500R case in order to get the 8 pin CPU power cable to reach the top of the ASUS P8Z68-V Pro board. The PSU looks great, is truly well built, but is severely lacking in adaptability.
Over all, it goes well with the Corsair case, say for one mounting screw not lining up with the Corsair case. For a lower end Modular PSU, this PSU might meet your needs. However, all things considered, I should have went with an ULTRA or Corsair PSU. Three out of Five Stars.

Two weeks…reliable so far,
I have been planning to purchase a pc power and cooling PSU since way back, (summer 2005) which was when it was a financially solvent company I was going to get the “Turbo Cool” model(Their best offering) but they no longer offer that model since OCZ absorbed and “acquired” them the reasoning behind the purchase, at least back then, was that the technical specifications, back then for the specific model I was looking at was simply mind blowing, that it had the tightest PFC regulation I have ever seen, no idea if that still is relevant with this model though, as the silencer was their entry level offering back then
But to cut to the chase it has improved my system drastically and dramatically, from a failed antec neo power HE(high efficiency) 500 watt that was giving some really bad juice to my system, causing erratic and mysterious errors (any type of windows refused to install!, bsod’ed during installation) and my music would stop streaming for no good reason, or packages would refuse to install on just about all major Linux flavors…, Thought it could be bad ram initially, then maybe a bad motherboard or cpu or maybe a bad PSU… after replacing the PSU all issues have been fixed and my computer, is blazing fast!(AMD Phenom X6 1075T)
Will post an update sometime in March to see if it’s still reliable.
