I had two 2GB PC2 5300 memory modules in by 2008 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro.
This PC2 6400 memory is not only backwards compatible to PC2 5300, but its cheaper too!
I swapped out one 2GB module for this 4GB module and instantly jumped to 6GB of RAM.

Works great on my iMac7,1,
I wasn’t sure this SODIMM would work with my iMac7,1 but it did. I simply replaced the original 1GB stick with the Patriot Signature 4GB (PC2-6400 DDR2 Notebook Memory PSD24G8002S) in slot 1. In slot 2 I already had a 2GB stick. So my aging iMac went from 3 GB to 6 GB. The performance is much better now. Sweet!!!

Worked Perfectly,
I upgraded an HP DV9543cl notebook computer. The notebook came with 2GB, a year ago I upgraded to 4GB using Kingston KVR667D2S0/2GR.
I have now upgraded to 8GB. No problems, everything works perfectly.
This memory, bought as individual sticks, is half the cost of all other comparable memory that I have found. Save yourself $100, and buy these instead.
