Do not buy this if you don’t have a graphics card. The on board graphics is non existent in this chip so it requires a video card that is readily available on Amazon. I got this for the specific purpose of gaming and I already have a GTX 560 ti (soon to sli) so I didn’t need an integrated graphics solution. The possibility of minutely higher OC’s and eliminating the chance of the computer switching to the integrated graphics (small chance but it has happened) is the main reason to purchase this CPU. The in’s and out’s of this processor is the same as the i5 2500K and a more detailed review of this is seen here: Intel Core i5-2500K Processor. With the release of the new Ivy Bridge processors, this CPU is out of date but still a very viable option for all but the most discerning computer aficionado. I was an AMD fanboy but when the i3 2120 outperformed the latest AMD four core, I was converted and went first with the i3 and now I have the i5. The best piece of silicone one can purchase comes from Intel! You will not be disappointed!

hi every one i own this i5-2550k i have a very powerfull desktop computer for gaming and this processor rocks it doint have graphic in it but whoo needs it if you have graphic cards alredy its a cooler processor it overclocks more than the i5-2500k and for gaming you doint need more than this i give it a 5 star my rig is coolermaster cm storm enforcer mid case motherboard asus maximus extreme IV p67 g.skill 2200mhz 8gb memmory eco alc cpu liquit cooler coolermaster psu 1000w asus cd burner 2x wd velociraptor 300gb hard drive 1x 120gb corsair ssd for os and 2x evga gtx 560ti 448 core graphic cards in sli cpu overclock at 5100 mhz i hope this help other buyers out there thanks guys.

|Great Processor… I Would Buy From Somewhere Else…,
Obviously, a wonderful item. This is an amazing processor and is unlocked. However, it came to me Dead on Arrival. I returned it and got it from Newegg.com and everything is fine.
