Great monitor for the price.,
This monitor replaces monitors twice as expensive in my mix and does so very well. I’m using it on a 4 unit KVM switch and therefore can compare four different computer/graphic cards with this monitor (newer computers with entry level graphic cars). I’m not using the monitor for photography or games but general web surfing, system testing and administration and the odd email and text document. In that capacity, it performs very well and is quite easy on the eyes!
It was sold through Amazon and the packaging was very good (box within a box). However, during unpacking, you might want a vacuum cleaner on hand as there were many small styrofoam nodules stuck to the monitor via static charge.
Also – the monitor base must be attached to the unit before use. The base contains the pivot points for adjusting the unit’s tilt. It arrives with the tilt setting all the way forwards. You must attach it to the post that is screwed to the monitor itself. The pivot points are VERY sticky and I had to put the monitor face down on my lap and hold the post with my thumb while I pulled the base into position.
All in all, very pleased and will update this review in a few months.
