Nice general purpose, low power, all–in-one with USB3 & HDMI,
I built one of these recently, with Windows 7, with a 1TB hard disk, and a DVD RW and it has worked flawlessly. Love the USB3 ports (future use with new peripherals), the fact that it has HDMI, DVI & VGA means I can use it with any generation monitor. Audio is excellent, with indication and setting of ports used as you plug in stuff into the ports (nice!). Form factor is HTPC friendly.
The built-in fan is quiet, with the power supply fan being noisier with the cheap case I used. Performance while copying files from USB hard disk, upgrade to W7-SP1, and from USB flash disk (Sony, and generic SD) was fast. Video playback from a DVD was fine, and Internet video playing went well. Giagbit Ethernet is nice, specially when you need to move lots of photos or movies between systems!
Used Skype, MSN, Adobe, OpenOffice, and many apps and all worked flawlessy with fast performance. I had no need for gaming, so cannot comment on gaming performance. I also did not use it with any VMs. Nor did I need to call Gigabyte support, so I cannot comment on that.
The price, feature, power and performance ratios for this board are excellent – specially when compared to ATOM units, and I can highly recommend for general use. I have built, and use an ATOM D510 based IP PBX (Asterisk and Elastix) with CentOS and have built hundreds of PCs since the early days of the PCs (as a business). I also run Ubuntu on several PCs and laptops, and have an Android 2.2 (aka Froyo) tablet, as well as several Apple Mac’s and Ipods.

HTPC build 4GB PC1333, 80GB HDD (soon to be 60GB SSD) run great!!!!,
Bought this when it was on sale from amazon for $90. this Mobo runs great. has HDMI out and SPDIF to the surround sound in my house. i’ve been using it for a week now for my HTPC. It plays 1080p through HDMI without a hitch. i dont know what otherguy on the review for this product is talking about. 1080P from youtube, run perfectly. E350 is more than capable of running this type of application. E350 is much faster than dualcore atom and ION2 paired together. Radeon 6310, SOC, can handle games quite well as well.

Mixed feelings about this board.,
Buying this board depends on your intentions for it. Performance wise, its not to bad. My brother wanted an upgrade, and I do tech work. I wanted something affordable and the fact it had a dual core processor already installed made it worth trying. his uses where simply email and music/movies. These things where no problem. I installed windows seven with 4GBs of 1.6 RAM. I needed to overclock the board, and yes it was simple with its easy to use BIOS. The major problem was, this board is so small I could not plug everything in. I used the old tower, and the front USB cords would not reach. When it says mini, that is what they mean. There is only 1 expansion bus, which was fine. It has everything you need for a simple setup, but get the mini tower. All the mount holes where correct, and faceplate lined up correctly. If I was to build another computer, I would not get this board simply because It is not powerfull enough, and I would not get it again for a replacement. If you want to build a system for a reasonable price, get it. Otherwise, pass this up.
