Seems to be very nice!,
I have to say I am far from being a professional, and I hope anyone who is reading will take this into account.
I bought this monitor the very DAY it came out, and I also bought the HP LED monitor as well.
I can say that the overall presentation of this monitor – is great. I know that many companies fail big-time to put much thought into the bezel – but it makes a huge different on the overall way you FEEL about the monitor.
I always liked the thin bezel approach, and this one is a winner in that regards. It also makes you feel as if the monitor is flat (even though all monitors are flat now days), and this ads to the overall experience.
Connecting this one together with the HP 2310 WLED monitor, i have to say that the HP presents an amazingly-superior picture. You would never EVER notice that if you were not making a comparison (one on one), but the HP presents blue like you never seen blue before, and this is true to the other colors as well. It puts this monitor to shame in that aspect. Although the HP is glossy, and the DELL isn’t.
I chose to keep the DELL and let go of the HP, despite of the color and “pop” of the HP. I did this because the Dell brings simply the BEST stand i have ever used (in any monitor). It is quite simply – amazing. But who cares about the stand, no? Well, it does make a difference for some reason.
Other than this, once the two don’t sit right next to each other (where the HP shines with its flawless colors and pop), the Dell gets his respect as well. It required a good amount of calibration, but a good overall picture.
Again -this is done from the eyes of someone who mostly does reading (as well as movies and web), but often for 10 hours a day (this is why i chose this non-glossy display as opposed to the HP).

|Great Monitor!,
I purchased this monitor as a replacement for an older 19″ flat panel. I can’t say enough about how awesome this monitor is. It performs flawlessly for steaming video, watching TV (via Slingbox), games, using Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc…
The controls are easy to use, the edges are consistently bright and black is black (once you adjust the brightness/contrast). I hardly pickup my notebook anymore because I have chosen to use an external keyboard & mouse all the time!
Almost forgot, the built-in two port USB hub is super handy since I’m using a notebook to drive the monitor – this allows me to use the external keyboard & mouse while only consuming one USB port on my notebook!
You can find cheaper 24″ monitors on the market but this one has BOTH 15-pin analog & DVI video input for maximum flexibility. I’m VERY happy with this monitor and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a rock solid performer.

|Poor Color,
The Dell P2411 monitor is slated for the “professional.” I have the U2410 on my desk at the office and purchased the less expensive P2411 for my home office. If you are any graphics field where color accuracy is a concern, I would look at the higher priced U2410, which is a true Pro level monitor, including all the input connections and color space required for graphics, video or CAD work.
I calibrated the P2411 using the Spyder3 Elite, and can not get the colors anywhere close to matching my HP 8740w workstation laptops display.
