It’s memory and it works. Definitely an improvement in my HP laptop going from 2GB to 6GB of RAM.

    Crucial Memory Upgrade Zino HD; Dell 400 works great 2 + 4 = 6 GB, August 25, 2010

I upgraded my Dell 400, Zino HD with the Crucial 4GB RAM stick. It worked immediately without any problems. I already had a Crucial 2GB stick in the PC. So eventually I will probably add another 4GB to have dual channel RAM; but this works great for now. I have not done time comparisons running different applications; but it seems faster for what I do (surf the web, online shop, research, email.) I don’t run multiple applications. I read for those doing multiple applications at the same time having a matched pair of RAM sticks would work the best; but for single applications it may be faster without the dual channel. It took about a minute or two to install. I bought my 4GB RAM Memory from Amazon and it came just a few days after I ordered it; faster than the estimated date of delivery.

I had a problem at first with Windows experience index actually rating my pc lower after I added the ram and thought maybe there was a problem with the ram. Still not 100% sure but I seemed to resolve it. In the end the rating went back to what it was but did not go higher when adding ram which I thought it would. Other than that it worked right away on my HP Pavilion DV7-3065dx. Had 4 gigs ram and now have 6gigs. Notice an improvement overall. Would like to run 8 gigs and will upgrade at some point. Had issues with gskills ram and this one no problems. I would say this corsair or Kingston is as good as it gets. Had issues with Gskills and Patriot ram before. Just wish the prices would come down about 50% on these and I could run dual channel with 8 gigs!!
