DON’T LISTEN to the people saying it’s not Quad. It’s BOTH.,
The people saying it’s “not quad” channel are wrong. This memory is BOTH. It will support both Dual channel AND quad channel mode. They do not understand what they are talking about. X79 is a platform that ENABLES TWO DUAL CHANNELS, so you need TWO DUAL channel sets of memory.
Corsair lists this exact memory as Quad Channel support with 1.5V DIMM, which is what you need. It is fantastic memory!! […]

I popped the RAM in and it worked as advertised. Works great at rated frequency and timing. The heat-sinks are kind of tall and might interfere with large CPU heat-sinks, but that is how they are designed.

I replaced my cheap Komputer Bay memory with these sticks and After Effects is so much slicker. Love it. Can’t beat the price either.
