Solid monitor,
Good size, well put together, rock solid, fast response time, good contrast ratio, wish it had HDMI but I knew that coming in. No problem with DVI-D, cables are high quality and long enough. Buttons are nice, picture quality is nice, there is a lot to rave about this monitor.
Now the downsides: I hear a good number of people complain about the stand, saying it’s too big, or seems like it’ll tip because it’s a round base, however, I find it very stable for the size and weight of the monitor itself (monitor is pretty light, base is like stone, as it should be). I’ve never even tried the speakers, dunno why you’d give a two star rating for such a superb monitor. You did buy a monitor, not a set of speakers, right? Anyway, for the price, I’m surprised they even shoved in speakers.
Another note, don’t be fooled about those 8024958720984572094875204985725:1 ratios. I’m pretty sure this monitor is 1000:1 true contrast ratio, which is pretty high quality, you only get that huge contrast ratio if you enable LED dimming, which is… not so stellar (works poorly/completely dims if a game/movie has a scene with white text on black screen), but I don’t use it anyway. There are plenty of settings/features to play with anyway, I am pleased.
Also, I purchased this one from Newegg.

Good quality for the money,
price is great for 20″ LED monitor. First one arrived with a dead pixel. Second arrived good.
Colors are nice and vivid. Dont expect anything but a metal/cheap sound from the built in speakers, but this is not an issue for me.

Plenty of brightness, vibrant colors.,
I purchased this as a larger screen for my father’s 15″ widescreen HP laptop, so he could get all his streaming quotes on one screen. So the bar was not set too high!
Installation was a breeze: I attached the stand, picked the correct cable from the three that were supplied (in this case the basic analog connector), plugged it in, and that was it. I was then stunned by the display’s vivid contrast; the Windows Vista desktop really “popped”. There was no way anyone was going to use the laptop’s display again (which by itself had seemed perfectly acceptable).
Being an inexpensive display, the contract changes with vertical viewing angle, but it’s better than a lot of other displays. It’s suitable for everything but critical graphic design work.
