Great budget micro board.,
I use a lot of these motherboards, as in over 100 a year. They work great for general workstations and consumer builds, and I’ve only had one DOA board out of a couple hundred total.
They lack in some features, such as no PCI slot and only one PCIE slot. The video slot works fine and the onboard video connection works fine also. Gigabyte recently came out with a competing budget micro-atx board with a gigabit LAN hookup and I’m hoping the ASRock will get a new revision with this and USB 3 at some point, but it’s not really a deal-breaker yet.
While I have seen these used to play games, keep in mind that this is an entry level budget 1155 motherboard, it isn’t a powerhouse, don’t expect it to be.
If you want a full-featured BIOS and solid construction with longevity and a low price point, these are a great choice.

Great budget board!,
Always loved ASRock — their stuff always gives you more bang for the buck than pretty much any of the other board manufacturers, and this is no exception. Worked right out of the box, great software disc, onboard LAN and audio are great, layout is good, and the board itself is quite inexpensive. Perfect board for an HTPC, budget gaming build (you can stick an i5 + NVIDIA/AMD graphics card in this board without problems), or just a budget build in general.

100Mbit – really?,
Yeah, it’s in the specs. Board was exactly as advertised – I just didn’t catch it. But really, it’s like having a base model car with a small notation that says “has only 2 tires”. You don’t look for it because, well, who would do something like that. Well, ASRock would.
