The features seem endless. Its UEFI Bios are the first I’ve encountered. So I can’t give fair comparison, but I can say it was very intuitive and came with ease.

Overclocking is offered in an automated fashion for the novice and detailed menus for the advance user.

Supports 2 and 3 way SLI and includes the bridges necessary. However, it only came with a 2 way Crossfire bridge.

My only complaint was when I placed the cpu into the socket and began to close the enclosure, it felt a bit too snug and seemed to require a lot of force – the kind of force you would expect if you were installing a processor into the wrong socket.

While this is an expensive motherboard, I believe it is feature rich enough to justify for the enthusiast.

An amazing board for overclockers!, October 25, 2011

If you like to tweak settings to get the most speed out of your ram and processor, this board is for you. If you are not an overclocker, there are cheaper boards out there. I am a computer enthusiast and though this board is super super expensive, I love it. I was able to get my 2600K 3.6 Ghz processor to run stable at 4.6 ghz and thats normal. Having speeds upwards of 5.2 GHZ stable is not unheard of for this board. Let me reiterate, I LOVE THIS BOARD! I love tweaking all the settings to get the most out of my computer and this board more than helps with that.

Wanted to post a few bits of info I found out by trial and error.

    1. Make sure to push in your RAM. It only clips one side and the side without does not seat firmly without pressure.
    2. When updating your Bios you need to put the new bios file on a thumb drive formatted to FAT32 before your EZ flash will recognize it.
    3. Careful using the Marvell 6GB SATA ports. Be sure to plug your primary drives into the Intel 6GB SATA and only use the Marvell for storage. (or not at all)
    4. You can go SLI X16 on both cards if you put something else in PCIE slot 1 (like a sound card or wireless NIC) This will kick in the NF200 and you can use slots 2 and 4 with full x16. (Although some people say not to because the NF200 causes lag.)

Overall a 5 star board and well worth the money. The OC options are amazing.
