Good at first, but has some issues,
This power supply started off great, had no issues… after about 5 months, I noticed artifacts during games and some really odd slowdowns with my computer.. Turns out, it was the power supply losing power..
Maybe I got a faulty unit? Who knows, but I had to cut back on the amount of items I had plugged in to this to ensure everything works properly.. There are better PSU’s out there, I suggest taking a pass on this one.

I don’t get it. First off I have to say that I’ve been a corsair PSU person for some time. For the price how did coolmax pull this off? First off, modular. I put this in an mATX. It is one of the cleanest looking builds I’ve done. Noise? I built this rig for someones entertainment system, so it has to be next to silent. Had another PSU laying around just in case. Didn’t need it. With 5 Sythe typhoons, one for CPU, and this psu’s 140mm fan, all you hear is the air moving, no “fan” noise. I normally don’t ‘over-watt’ a build. With the balanced airflow of this case, I figured, “why the hell not”. Reliable? Don’t know yet. Performance? Runs smoothly through the curves. Hit high cycle once in 2 hours running prime 95 OCed to high hell. Lasted for a about a minute, and then silence again.
Idiot proofed, and boxed up the rig. Can’t ask for more than that.
