good monitor, poor speakers,
Nice monitor, good picture, but the built in speakers are rather weak. I was looking forward to cleaning up my desk a bit and lose the old speakers I had, but ended up having to keep them since the built in Viewsonic speakers are poor.

Don’t buy for it’s sound quality.,
The picture quality is fine. It is a LED monitor and the screen clarity is pretty good for not being HD. So, I’m happy with this purchase for the monitor. BUT, I bought this monitor because it had “integrated speakers”. What a joke! I can’t see or find the speaker. It sounds like there is one speaker about the size of a dime somewhere. Absolutley no sound volume. I am not using the monitor speakers. I had to set up desk top speakers to keep the monitor. Otherwise I would have returned it.

Great picture terrible sound,
This is my first wide-screen monitor. I love having more space to work on spreadsheets and word documents. I enjoy watching Internet TV on the wide-screen too. The sound though is terrible even after tweaking the sound settings on the monitor and PC. I use the monitor in my home office, the room is quiet and 10 X 11 feet with a door. I am using a new win 7 64bit system with 4G ram and a windows experience index of 4.6.
PROs:
Easy set up
Clear picture
Accessible connectors
Great video playback using VGA
Price
CONs:
Terrible Sound (I bought a pair $10 PC speakers
Monitor controls buttons are small and difficult to use.
Tilt adjustment is limited although sufficient.
