2 Toshiba monitor failed and toshiba won’t repair,
Does not rate even 1 star. Toshiba could not find the part no or sn for a monitor sold on Sept 26 2011 dlvd on Sept 30 failed 4 weeks later. Support could not find the item in their database and would not give me a rep or address to return it to. They did direct me to 5 different depts. Turns out it was new old stock built Oct 2010 and sold in Australia. I thru it out. Will not buy another toshiba product and I was a big fan of their laptops. I bought 5 or so each year for our field engineers. I returned two unopened laptop worth $3200 in protest. It is all dell now. This particular monitor did the same thing. Failed in two weeks and the item is not listed on their website. Just going in the dumpster. I won’t call them again. It was purchased in November 2011 and failed the same month. the first monitor was a PA3768A-1LCH sn TSBJAAL001859 MOnitor No. 2 PA3885U-1LC2 built July 2011 SN TSBJB7L000906. The first was purchase with a Tecra RB840 laptop and the second with a Satelite P750. I sent those back unopened. We have about 20 laptops in the field Dell and Toshiba about split. I just bought 2 Dell and will never buy even a Toshiba flashlight. Think Toshiba, think Compaq. Losers. All this thru Toshiba US Direct. No third party.
