I just built my first system with this case. It’s also my first full tower. I’ve been using mid towers like the Antec Sonata and the Thermaltake V3.

This case is huge and sturdy which also means heavy, Add to that the lighted fans and my wife says we may use it our Christmas Tree this year.

I agree with Ma3rk about the top mounted controls. I read that and said be careful but without the front cover that plastic thing got damaged slightly moving the case around. With the cover on it’s not bad, and I only damaged one of the 3 plastic locking pins so it fits fine.

One thing that I missed in the description is that there is no 3.5 bay that is open to the front. I have an SD card reader/USB hub that needs one. The 5.25 to 3.5 adapter tray that comes with the case only has mounting holes on the bottom so I needed to order an another adapter. No big deal but it did delay completion.

I do like the 3.5 drive cages but it took me a while to find the 2 screws holding it in. They are underneath those “toolless” locks.

I haven’t had a problem with the side fan PCGEEK mentioned, except when I tried to run without the door screwed in tight, the latches just don’t hold it tight enough.

I loaded it up pretty good and still have plenty of room for expansion.

This Termaltake full tower case is amazing in every way possible. It ships with 2-240mm fans that are led lit, 2-150 mm fans that are not led lit, and 1-150mm fan that is led lit. It would be nice if there was more room to store the cables, but i was still able to fit a ton a cables in the space provided. It has 2 holes on near the bottom that are pre-punched for people who want to water cool there case. There is a lot of bays to store HDD and other hardware needed to run the computer. It also has and extra 240 mm vent on the top of the case if you want to add another fan, on the otherhand there is already one on top. The only downside to the setup of the fans is that the 2 intake fans on the front are below the cpu and GPU section. It would be optimal to put them higher so that the exhaust fans blow the heat out while the intake fans blow cool air in on over the main motherboard. All the air is being disipated through the top section while the intake fans blow the aird straight out the bottom. Like i said, this setup does not make since. So i modifyed my 2 intake fans and moved them up higher. Overall this case is amazing, and would purchase it for another build in a heartbeat. Love the multiple choice of colors i can choose for my fans also with the button on the front panel.

I have purchased many cases from the Corsair CC800DW Obsidian 800D to the Thermaltake Armor LQ. This case is by far the best cooled case I have ever seen. It is very quiet and moves a lot of air. I would recommend placing an 80mm fan on the right side to cool the MB even more but this case rocks. You may have to modify the 80mm fan a bit but it works great. You won’t go wrong buying this case. The price is more than a bargain.
