I have a late 2011 17″ macbook pro, when I installed it and boot it up. It showed 16gb of ram. Did a memtest and it passed, I notice when I ran my Parallels VM for debian and windows @ the same time it was fast on suspend and bringing it up from suspend was also equally fast. I highly recommend these memory for upgrading your macbook pro

Running Parallels Desktop and Windows 7 Pro on my MacBook Pro 17″…this is a must have so I can allocate 8gb to the VM and 8gb left for the MacBook…I have performance everywhere!!

|Works just fine in my 2011 iMac,
I got this kit for my 2011 iMac. It installs without any hitches or glitches. Coupled with the original 4GB RAM I had from the Apple factory I am now running 20 GB of memory. Applications run faster since there is less swapping to the HD. I ram Rember to test the memory and everything passed after one cycle. If there was going to be some sort of memory glitch then I think I would have experienced it in the first few hours. Hopefully I didn’t jinx my long term luck here!
I will most likely buy another set next month to bring my total RAM to 32 GB.
