Solid board for every day users,
Rock stable board. I love that it has a connection to front panel USB 3.0 ports. It has lots of audio options, and the rear IO shield isn’t a piece of chrome-plated steel. It has OEM-level graphics that will make your custom PC look like the professionally assembled towers made by the big boys. Defaults to AHCI if you’re using an SSD, which is what you want. It correctly uses Intel’s TurboBoost on newer Core i5’s and i7’s to give you both power and minimal energy consumption. As an H77-based board, it does NOT overclock the CPU. The MSI H77M does support XMP for your RAM, so if you have some higher-end RAM, it will work at full speed.
Ultimately, I returned it for a Gigabyte Z77M board so I can overclock, but this is NOT a bad product. ESPECIALLY for the price.
