Dead after a couple months, December 13, 2010
    By

Do not purchase this drive. It died after two months of use. I have never had an external drive die so quickly before. It would not start up on any operating system and appears to be cycling as though it can not start up. I failed to research this product online before buying and that was my mistake. I hope my review will protect others.

    Enclosure Failed, June 6, 2010

Had the product for about 4 months. No problems until last week.
Very poor ventilation. The enclosure failed after four months. Pulled the drive out of the enclosure and put it into another empty one i had around using the same hookups and worked perfectly. There is probably some manufacturing fault with the circuitry on the connector side of things.

Broken within one month! Data lost, December 3, 2010

The headline says it all. Broke the case open to try to salvage my data, plugged it into a SATA port and guess what??? The actual DRIVE is bad! Avoid this one like the plague. Never had a hard drive fail this quickly.
